Lotus Touch Jasmine Essential Oil

Latin/Species: jasminum grandiflorum

Distillation/Extraction Method: By alcohol extraction from the concrete made from the flowers.

Suggested Use: Try blending 1 drop of jasmine and 1 drop of neroli in 20 ml of Jojoba Oil and dab a small amount on the wrists as an alternative to perfume.

Did you know: Jasmine is often referred to as the "King of Aromatics", as reflected in the cost. 

Jasmine absolute can be produced in two main ways, by alcohol extraction from the concrete or by alcohol extraction from the trays of fat used in effleurage. The latter process has become impractical and uneconomic, so most absolutes are now produced from concretes. This intensely floral oil is dark orange in color and somewhat viscous, but very little is required to add the characteristic odor to any blend.

Specific Safety Advice: Jasmine is not recommended for use during pregnancy, but is an excellent oil to use during childbirth.
