Get two tennis balls and a sock
The Acuball is very hard and uncomfortable. With it positioned in the center of my spine there was little extension of vertebrae. Two tennis balls in a sock allow the contact points to be more lateral to the spine. This is more comfortable and generates more extension. Yes, the center of the Acuball can be heated, but with the nubbies that heat never reaches your back.

Excellent tool for practice
I highly recommend this as a clinical tool to help patients relieve tight neck muscles and joints. I let my patients relax on it for 5 minutes before I start treatment and they loosen nicely without me needing to touch them! I also love it myself at the end of a long clinic day. Definitely worth every cent!!!

EVERY THERAPIST NEEDS THIS!
I have used a lot of massage tools over the years but I was blown away when I lied on a heated large Acuball - I was able to release my stuck L3-L4 on my OWN!!!! Saved me from going to my chiro. I now sell these to my clients who love it and love me because I turned them on to helping themselves instead of always relying on me.
The future is definitely the Acuball!
