PattyB, Return your bottle for a refund

HobaCare 100% Pure Jojoba

PattyB, I believe you received rancid oil. I have used HobaCare as my primary oil for 8 years. Only once did I notice an odor, and it was a bottle I purchased through massagewarehouse. I recommend you return it for a replacement. I find I need less of this oil to get the glide I want, so it becomes very economical to use. No problems with skin sensitivity even on my most sensitive clients. Very shelf stable. (I buy yearly with no problems.)

The best oil for massage, and more

HobaCare 100% Pure Jojoba

I am a huge fan of HobaCare jojoba oil. Not only do I use it in my massage practice, but I also use it on my own body after showering. After about ten minutes, it has soaked into my skin, leaving it soft, supple, and non-greasy. It's also great for massage, since it's not too slippery, and since I know I'm giving my clients the best and purest oil for their skin. (I've read that jojoba oil matches the natural oils of human skin more closely than any other oil and is thus most readily absorbed and utilized. In my experience, this is true.)

Disappointed

HobaCare 100% Pure Jojoba

I normally massage using an unscented cream; however, chose to try Jojoba oil. The oil disappointed me. I was forever reapplying the Jojoba--plus it had an unpleasant smell.

HobaCare 100% Pure Jojoba

Jojoba oil is the closest thing to the natural oils in are own skin. I prefer to use this oil in my work as it is a healthy choice for the skin. You can even wash your body with jojoba oil. I have clients that use a drop to run through their hair. Great for people with curly hair.
