Doesn't get real hot
NRG Digital Massage Table Warmer 30"X73"
I purchased this item because the description said that internal temperatures could go as high as 140 degrees, and I was looking for a pad that could get fairly hot. When I put a blanket over it, set it on the highest setting, and let it warm up for 30 minutes, the temperature under the blanket (measured using an IR thermometer) was only about 85 degrees, so I am returning it.
The page of instructions that came with the pad were for a different model (or for an older version of this model), but the product description describes the controls accurately.
The heating wires are about 2 inches apart (more in some spots). They cover an area about two feet wide.
I measured a maximum power draw of 101 watts. When the unit is turned off, the power draw fluctuates a lot but averages about 0.8 watts.
