Oakworks Table Cart

I have been doing mobile massage for years and was hesitant to buy a cart...I finally purchased this card and love it. The extra minute it takes to put the table on the cart makes a load of difference for my back. It is easy to use and turns well.

Oakworks Table Cart

I use this cart for my Oakworks table that I keep inside the Oakworks carry case, where I keep the bolster, linens and accessory items in the front zippered pocket. I have mobile accounts that entail a long walk from parking, through several doorways and among many people. I used to use a $20 luggage cart that was perfectly convenient for outdoor sporting events but the width-wise position made it a struggle through doorways. It was inconvenient and unprofessional to hold people up trying to finagle a table through narrow walkways. The Oakworks cart allows me to breeze my table length-wise through all doorways and busy corridors without issue. It is top heavy and won't corner well if done too quickly but an easy walking pace is fine. It won't handle multiple steps but can be eased over low curbs and thresholds. The strap is the same material as lotion holster belts and I would have liked an upgrade in the quality there. I have an SUV and still have to separate the table from the cart during travel. Maybe there could be structural improvements but I'm still thankful to have it every single week. It has been completely worth the purchase. No regrets.

Oakworks Table Cart

I have purchased this cart in 2003 as a package deal with the table, bolster and carry case and it worked great. I will have to replace it though because I have backed my Toyota Camry into it by mistake so the cart got bent. I have been very happy with the product.

Oakworks Table Cart

I finally had an event that warranted using my table cart. Over the course of months I would read reviews of all table carts on the market and finally bought the Oakworks because the pros seemed to outweigh the cons. Here's my 2 cons: 1) the cart folds down and the ends sort of nest together but it does not telescope so to transport it you need a wide car or a deep car. I have a Honda FIT and I put up one seat and had it standing vertically. BTW if it did telescope it wouldn't be as strong. It would be weak at the joints. 2) the protruding bar at the base by the wheel does hit/rub on the ground if the cart is at too much of an angle. I was on a ramp and I definitely scraped the corner of the bar a number of times, but I would rather scrap the metal bar on the cart than the corners of my table & table cover, so it's protection and it's going to get scraped a little. Now the pros: Easy to load the table in the cart and super stable, one side of the strap is always kind of loose in place, so once you put the table in the cradling canvas it stays; buckle the strap on the open side and you are ready to roll, but I still wanted to stow some paperwork in the side pocket of the table cover (yes, the table in the cover fit beautifully in the cart)and so while the table was loaded on the cart I just kept stuffing things in the side pocket which I still had access to and the table was stable and vertical, so I didn't need to lean it up against a wall. Next those large wheels are smooth rolling. That was one of the features that had me take a chance on buying this cart over others. I liked the larger diameter wheels. Now here is what I hadn't known. Once I was packed up from my gig I wanted to make one trip to my car and I had a Playmate cooler with me and a rolling duffle bag and a bolster. I needed both hands to hold each rolling thing so I balanced the Playmate horizontally on the table cart handle so the side of the cooler was leaning against the top of the table when the cart was in the tilted position you would have it to roll and the bottom of the cooler was resting on the handle bar of the cart. I was able to pull the cart up the ramp that way with the cooler balanced on the cart's handle bar. The rolling duffle had those criss-crossing elastic straps that secured my bolster so I had 2 rolling things and I carefully pulled everything up the ramp to my car in one trip. I am tempted to give the cart 5 stars, but I want therapists to really read and consider if this cart is for you. If your car is small putting the length of the cart in it could be challenging. It was too long to put in my car width wise, but the FIT has that option of putting up a seat and then you have vertical length to hold the cart.

Oakworks Table Cart

I am very satisfied with this product. I did watch the you tube video before I purchased it and it was helpful. I did not experience any tipping. Although I have not needed to take the table/cart up stairs it worked great for getting over curbs. I used it with two different size tables and both fit well. It was sturdy and easy to pull.
