I purchased this orthodic because I LOVE my Orthaheel sandals and notice the diminishing of discomfort when my plantar fascitis flares up. I wore them on 2 short runs (4 to 5 miles) for testing and then wore them in a 13 mile run. My foot was sore afterwards - but of course not sure how much sorer if I had run with out them. I am going to try alternating runs with and without them for further testing. Good newes is they fit my shoes perfect with no rub spots.
