Burnt in microwave after only a few uses

There's a temperature gauge that tells you when the heat pack is the correct temperature. The pack does not heat in the time is says it should. If it's not the right temperature after the initial heating, the instructions state to heat at 30 second intervals until heated. After the second 30 seconds, the pack burnt on the edge creating a hole, making the pack unusable, seeing it contains beads that fall out.

too big, too stiff

Doesn't fit in my microvave (which is not tiny) - Is way too stiff a material and doesn't lie across back well because of this. The temperature gauge strip is hard to read
