the problem with facial brushes is that they are either too soft to exfoliate the skin or too stiff and harsh. Well, I ordered this little brush and it is just right. I use it with a facial scrub lotion or just with my black soap. Then when I dry my face I lather on my pomegranate cream or whatever kind I am presently using. This is a perfect little facial brush
