How do I tint eyelashes with RefectoCil?
For best results, please consult the manufacturer’s instructions and take care to follow all recommended steps. An overview of the proper steps to using Refectocil Eyebrow & Eyelash Tint are as follows:
- Thoroughly clean the areas with a makeup remover such as RefectoCil Micellar Eye Make-Up Remover
- Apply Refectocil Skin Protection Cream around the eyes
- Use RefectoCil Silicone Pads for Eyelash Tinting Treatments under the eyes to further protect the client’s skin
- Mix 10 drops of RefectoCil® Oxidant 3% Liquid with 2 cm of dye to make a creamy paste. Proper mixing tools can be found in the Refectocil Artist Palette.
- With your client’s eyes closed, carefully apply the mixture to the eyelashes with an applicator and let set for 5-10 minutes
- Carefully remove the silicone pads and remove excess tint with a cotton ball or pad. Should the tint touch the skin, use RefectoCil® Tint Remover to clean the area, being careful not to touch the newly dyed area or get too close to the client’s eyes.
Does RefectoCil stain the skin?
Yes. To minimize spotting from the tint, It is important to protect the skin with Refectocil Skin Protection Cream and to use RefectoCil Silicone Pads for Eyelash Tinting Treatments under the eyes. For eyebrow tinting, be sure to use the proper applicator to avoid applying too much of the dye. Remove excess dye immediately following the treatment with a cotton ball or pad and use RefectoCil® Tint Remover to remove any unwanted spotting.
How long does RefectoCil eyebrow tint last?
Although individual results may vary, generally Refectocil eyebrow tint lasts up to 6 weeks.
Is RefectoCil vegan-friendly?
Refectocil products are NOT tested on animals and all but four of RefectoCil products are vegan-friendly. The exceptions are:
- RefectoCil Eyelash Lift (contains Hydrolyzed Collagen)
- RefectoCil Eyelash Curl (contains Hydrolyzed Collagen)
- RefectoCil Skin Protection Cream (contains beeswax)
