The medium is for the arm, shoulder and elbow areas. The mini is ideal for cervical, throat and jaw area (as in TMJ), as well as the ankle and wrist area. ANALOG MOIST HEAT PACKS

To activate the heat, you must press and hold the controller to turn on the unit. You must press it and hold it there for it to remain "ON". Releasing the switch lever will turn the unit off. You may cover the Thermotech with a blanket or towel to retain the heat and moisture. It is the high heat coupled with the slow cool down that produces the moisture.
