A body mask (or masque) is a product applied all over the body intended to detoxify and refine the skin. Typically the product consists of clay or mud combined with herbal or aromatherapy agents to entice multiple senses. The clay or mud tightens and smooths while drawing out impurities like oil and dirt from deep within. Amber Professional offers a full line of body masques including Amber Marine Algae Body Masque with Chamomile, Amber Seaweed Mud Body Masque with French Green Clay, Amber Sedona Mud Body Masque with French Red Clay and Amber Dead Sea Mud Body Masque with Chamomile.

The short answer is yes. Although many facial masks are formulated for the combination skin types typically found on the face such as oily and/or dry patches, there is no reason a facial masque should not be applied to the body at large. Body masque products, however, are typically formulated with moisturizing qualities you and your client may prefer. Whereas facial masques like, Amber Paraffin Facial Masque is infused with collagen to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

A body scrub, or body polish, massage utilizes an exfoliating product such as Amber Sugar Scrub instead of traditional massage creams, oils or lotions. The intention of a body scrub massage is to leave the skin soft and smooth through the exfoliating and moisturizing properties of the product. The invigorating treatment is known to have multiple benefits including improving blood and lymph circulation to fight cellulite, improving skin tone and opening the pores in preparation for other treatments such as body wraps or mud masques and tanning.
